Sunflowers for Ukraine Update!
Update 13 March: Putin continues his attack on our Ukrainian neighbors, which has evolved into both a war and worsening humanitarian crisis. I want to thank you all for doing what you can in the face of this injustice. As of March 11th, we’ve raised and donated over $600! Please continue to share and talk about the war in Ukraine, and how you can help. In the meantime, there are still sunflowers available! At this time, they’re taking roughly 5-7days to mail out (shipping to US only).
Update 5 March: I truly can’t express how positively overwhelmed I am at the outpouring of support and response this little project has received! A big “Thank YOU!” to everyone who has shared, ordered or spread the word. So far we have raised over $360 as of today! The first round of donations went out today and the first set of sunflowers being mailed out.
Sunflowers are still available for order! Each is a unique painting (may not look like the example image), 100% of the profits from which will go to the organization Save Life: This NGO crowdfunds non-lethal military equipment, such as thermal vision scopes & supplies it to the Donbas front lines. It also provides training for Ukrainian soldiers, as well as researching troops’ needs and social reintegration of veterans.
